During the weekend families will spend two nights on the farm\, feed farm animals\, gather eggs\, pick fruits and vegetables\, and participate in S.T. E. A. M. activities. There will be a special field trip to the nature center and beach at nearby Hunting Island State Park. In the evenings\, we will build campfires\, prepare and enjoy a meal\, tell stories\, and sing songs together. \nFamilies join us for a time of Bible study about creation and nature on our farm. Dig deep in God’s word\, looking at biblical agricultural and farming practices as you explore the farm property\, the animals\, and the crops growing. Stay on the farm at one of our campsites or commute each day. \nA special part of the camp will be learning the importance of God’s word to many Gullah people. We’ll read passages from the Gullah Bible and sing songs from the community. You may also participate in games and activities\,sit around the campfire for evening devotions and singing\, help prepare meals in the Gullah tradition.\nSee our demonstration plots dedicated to the African diaspora and the plots inspired by the teaching of Dr. George Washington Carver.
