DESCRIPTION:Birding at Pinckney Island\nPinckney Island National Wildlife Refuge\nWednesday\, 7:30 AM\nJune & August (not available in July) \nTour participants will be guided through a walking tour of Pinckney Island National Wildlife Refuge by an experienced bird watcher.  \nWith a combination of natural habitats including Salt Marsh\, Maritime Forest and open fields\, the site allows participants to see many different species of birds. Depending on the season\, diverse birds can be spotted: Summer Tanager\, Eastern Kingbird\, Painted Bunting\, Yellow-bellied Sapsucker\, Egrets\, Herons and many\, many others. \nWhat to Bring: \nGood walking shoes\nBinoculars \nCost is $12/Person\, ages 12 and up. (Not recommended for children under the age of 12.) This tour is also available as a private group experience for up to 8 people. DESCRIPTION:Kayak Tours of Jarvis Creek\nJarvis Creek Watersports\nTuesday\, Wednesday & Thursday\, 10 AM \nJoin a naturalist guide in a kayak exploration of Jarvis Creek.  \nPaddle through the salt marsh looking for bottle-nosed dolphins\, wading birds and other local wildlife. Jarvis Creek is a small creek in the north end of Hilton Head Island not typically visited by recreational boaters. The absence of fast-moving boats\, calm water and the many inlets and side creeks make it the ideal location to see wildlife.  \nGiven the physical requirements of this tour\, we do not allow children younger than 5 years of age to participate. Children ages 5 to 12 must be in a double kayak with an adult. \nCost is $40/Adult or $36/Child (ages 5-12 with an adult).
