SUMMARY:Edisto Fall Festival & Turtle Tide Art Auction
DESCRIPTION:Come join us to walk and shop this Fall! The Festival will be held on Jungle Road in front of the Jungle Road Plaza. The Fall Festival features arts and crafts\, food\, and business/non-profit sponsored tables. Live music will be provided in the dirt parking lot between Jungle Rd. Plaza and Food Lion/McConkeys. Feel free to bring chairs and blankets to sit.  \nWe will auction off all 10 turtles scattered around the island that have been part of our Turtle Tide Art Project. Proceeds will go to benefit each turtle’s designated non-profit. Turtles will be scattered throughout for viewing prior to the auction.

DESCRIPTION:There’s good news for local runners coming up this fall. Three local organizations have partnered to create a family-friendly 5k race series dubbed\, the “Beaufort Triple Crown.” \nThe series spans across 3 Saturdays in October. \nSaturday\, October 15th\, 2022 | Swing Bridge Run: The run supports Holy Trinity Classical Christian School’s mission to provide rigorous classical education to children regardless of financial means.\nRegister for the Swing Bridge Run: bit.ly/SwingBridgeRun\n \nSaturday\, October 22nd\, 2022 | Flying Frog 5K: This unique course is on the runway at\nbeautiful Beaufort Executive Airport. This race supports the Altitude Academy\, a lowcountry\nprogram dedicated to educating youth on aviation. \nParticipants who complete all three races will be eligible for special series awards for best\ncombined time that will be awarded at the final race in the series. Individual registration and\nparticipation required for all three races to qualify. \n“We are thrilled to see three great organizations coming together to form the Triple Crown Race Series and we are excited to provide timing this year\,” Tim Waz\, owner of Grounded Running in Beaufort. \n“While every event we support is special in itself\, having three\namazing events in one month offers participants a unique new challenge to do all three.\nBeaufort continues to rank as one of the healthiest cities in America and we love supporting a\nlifestyle focused on physical fitness as a component of overall health and well-being. Grounded Running is proud to partner with Beaufort Digital Corridor\, Holy Trinity Classical Christian School\, and Beaufort Executive Airport to put on this series\, as well as to support each and every participant by providing a top quality race experience and support for each individual to reach and exceed his or her fitness goals\,” he added. \nAll courses are USATF certified\, timing is provided by Grounded Running and a unique finishers medal is sponsored by Stokes Toyota Hilton Head. \nRegistration for the Beaufort Triple Crown series is only available until October 5\, 2022. DESCRIPTION:After a two year absence\, the annual Harvest Festival is returning this fall to Habersham. The Habersham Marketplace (merchant’s council) set the dates for Friday through Sunday\, October 14 – 16. \nThe favorite Lowcountry street festival features a vintage fair theme with family activities\, celebrated local food purveyors\, live music and artisan crafts set against the backdrop of timeless southern architecture on Market Street. \nIf past years can be used as any indication of what to expect\, then there will definitely be lots of excitement for the whole family. \nEveryone will enjoy tons of fall fun while browsing artisan vendors\, enjoying great local food and live music on the main stage\, plus plenty of activities for kids of all ages including the popular 47-ft Ferris wheel\, vintage rides\, contests\, face painters\, hayrides\, a petting zoo and lots more. \nThis year’s Harvest Festival is a three-day event beginning Friday\, October 14th from 4pm to 8pm\, Saturday\, October 15th from 10am to 6pm and Sunday\, October 16th from 10am to 6pm. \nThe Habersham Harvest Festival returns October 14th through the 16th.\nThe Habersham Harvest Festival offers free admission with food\, drink\, art and crafts available for purchase; while select activities may include nominal entry fees. \nVisit https://habershamharvestfestival.com/ for more information and for additional announcements as they are made.
