DESCRIPTION:Writers of all genres struggle with\, and delight in\, questions of meaning and purpose. This workshop will explore a broad range of writers\, from Thicht Nhat Hahn to San Juan de la Cruz to Toni Morrison\, whose writing has been anchored by their belief in (or search for) the Divine. We’ll suggest practical ways to make our writing an exploration of spirituality\, and we’ll write three in-class exercises to help sharpen our attention to observation\, meditation\, and invention. Writers of all genres\, all levels of experience\, and all (or no) faith traditions are most welcome. \nThis is an in-person writers workshop\, held at the Pat Conroy Literary Center (601 Bladen St\, Beaufort).
