Presented by Hilton Head Dance Theatre\, Terpsichore is our Spring Performance by our Company Dancers. \nTerpsichore\, the Hilton Head Dance Theatre’s annual production of classical and contemporary dance\, features new works and the re-staging of audience favorites.\nAdult tickets are $20 and students (18 and younger) are $10 plus processing fees. Online ticket sales will close two hours before curtain. Tickets will be available at the door\, however we highly encourage you to purchase your tickets in advance.\nAll performances will be held at the Seahawk Cultural Center at Hilton Head Island High School. Doors will open 30 minutes before each performance. You will receive an email confirmation with your tickets.\nTerpsichore 2023 opens with Gershwin Suite\, Jamal Edwards exuberant ballet set to some of George Gershwin’s most beloved tunes.\nThe evening finale is Karena Brock-Carlyle’s staging of the third act of Marius Petipa’s masterpiece\, Don Quixote\, featuring the iconic wedding pas de deux for Kitri and Basilio\, danced by Lucy Peltz and guest artist Will Scott.\nHighlighting the middle portion of the program will be eclectic choreography set to music by Erik Satie\, Jayden\, They Might Be Giants\, and the Irish rock band The Pogues.
