DESCRIPTION:You won’t want to miss Ridgeland’s Holiday Festival of Music and Lights! This month-long light show kicks off December 1 with a Christmas parade to get you into the holiday spirit. Immediately following the parade\, the Blue Heron Nature Trail will be illuminated by fifteen thousand lights in 57 displays arranged in eleven scenes along the trail. \nEnjoy holiday treats and festive music playing along the trail. Santa will even make an appearance. This is fun for the whole family! No matter when you take the trip in December\, you will be able to catch the show. The festivities conclude on Christmas eve. \nThe Blue heron Nature Center and Trail is located at 321 Bailey Lane\, Ridgeland\, SC

DESCRIPTION:Join us for the annual Cadd Family Holiday Light Display every night from November 25th through December 27th\, and enjoy the walk-through light display with your friends and family at one of the Beaufort area’s favorite holiday traditions.\nSynchronized to Christmas music\, among the dozens and dozens of dancing light displays you will be greeted by are Anna & Elsa\, Frosty\, Garfield\, Rudolph\, the Grinch\, Yukon Cornelius and dozens of others that you all know and love; all among a lighted winter wonderland complete with  snow machines and a moving lifelike Santa sitting on his chair. \nThis season’s Holiday Light Display schedule:\nSundays through Thursdays from 530pm to 830pm\nFridays & Saturdays from 530pm to 10pm \nPlease park safely along Springfield Road and be very attentive to small children.\nThere will be no display that night if a considerable amount of rain has fallen that day.\nFor your safety\, please remain on your side of the fencing\, and do not touch the displays. \nIn the spirit of the giving season\, the Cadds\, David & Amanda\, encourage you to please support our Beaufort community during the holidays by donating toys or making a monetary donation to Toys For Tots\, The Salvation Army\, HELP of Beaufort\, local food pantries\, or any of the additional organizations that will help families in need at this time of the year.

DESCRIPTION:Folks in Beaufort\, SC are in for another treat this Christmas season. While it’s highly unlikely that anybody will be “dashing through the snow in a one horse open sleigh\,” Sea Island Carriage Company will be hosting Christmas Carriage rides through the beautiful Habersham neighborhood during the month of December. \n“Experience the magic of the holiday season on a horse & carriage ride through the Southern Living inspired community of Habersham.” \nWhile Sea Island Carriage Company typically gives narrated historic tours of the downtown Beaufort area\, this won’t be an historic tour. Habersham is always decked out for the Christmas season with the sights and sounds of the holiday including lights\, luminaries\, and more; and the carriage rides will take you through all of that seasonal beauty each weekend from December 8th through December 23rd. \nSea Island Carriage Company owner\, Nichole Bradley\, is excited about the event. “We’re over the top excited to do this\,” Bradley said. “We’ve wanted to do this here in Beaufort for a few years now\, and were finally able to have it all put together.” \nCarriage rides are open to the public\, and private carriage bookings are also available. \n“We have room for everybody\,” Bradley said. \nAccording to Bradley\, the rides will start every 15-20 minutes\, and will leave from 22 Market\, along the main street in the neighborhood. \n“Our Christmas carriages will hold up to 12 people at a time\, so everyone who wants to enjoy the magic of the season will have a seat.” \nA dual event between Sea Island Carriage Company and Habersham Marketplace\, visitors are encouraged to stick around for awhile after their ride and enjoy the dining and shopping options that Habersham houses in its quaint Marketplace near the front entrance to the community. \n“Join us as we create a new tradition on this enchanting Christmas spectacle\, riding amidst the twinkling lights and festive porch displays that showcase the true essence of Christmastime in the South\,” Habersham Marketplace said in a social media posting. \nTickets for the Christmas Carriage rides are on sale and can be purchased here.
