SUMMARY:4th of July Celebration at The Sands in Port Royal
DESCRIPTION:Locals and folks visiting the Beaufort area are again in for a treat as the Town of Port Royal will be putting on its Independence Day Celebration and fireworks at the Sands Beach for the 4th of July. \nAfter your done with the day of boating\, relaxing\, barbecuing and having fun with family and friends\, get on down to The Sands for more fun and fireworks. \nThe festivities at The Sands usually start earlier in the afternoon\, and you’ll enjoy lots of family fun including good eats and drinks that will help combat the heat we usually have here in the Lowcountry. \nLocal Boy Scouts will be on hand serving hot dogs and burgers\, and food trucks will be lined up on hand to quench your thirst and to offer more goodies. Enjoy fare from Fly Pies\, Lawyers BBQ\, Snack Shack\, and Tropical Treasures. \nLive entertainment starts later in the day with DJ Kev Greaves\, and the Iron Mic Parris Island Marine Band will perform from 8pm until the fireworks start. \nFree parking on Paris Avenue and side streets will be available and the road to the Sands landing is usually shut down prior to the 4th of July for all traffic including boats with trailers. 7th Street is typically closed to all traffic except for residents that live on that street. \nThe fireworks at The Sands are put on by East Coast Pyrotechnics and usually begin around 915pm. \nYes\, what better way to celebrate the 4th of July in Beaufort than fireworks\, family fun and community at the Sands in Port Royal. \nIt’s a lot of fun and you won’t find a better place to enjoy a night of celebrating than with fireworks at the Sands Beach.

DESCRIPTION:Join us for the biggest 4th of July fireworks show on Hilton Head Island! You won’t want to miss Shannon Tanner’s family show from 6:30 p.m. – 7:15 p.m.\, followed by a special patriotic Parrot Palooza Sunset Celebration with Shannon Tanner & the Oyster Reefers starting at 7:15 p.m.\, along with kids activities with Cappy the Clown from 6 – 9 p.m.! Additionally\, children will enjoy bounce houses & train rides around the promenade (for an additional cost) starting at 6:00 pm! \nTo ensure a safe and smooth entry and exit from the event for the July 4th celebration\, Shelter Cove Harbour & Marina offers a free shuttle from the parking lot at the Hargray building near Fresh Market for attendees to be shuttled to the HarbourFest events from 5:30-10:30 pm. Parking is free at this lot\, with several shuttles running continuously from 5:30 pm until 10:30 pm.  \nAmerican flags and paddle fans will be distributed while supplies last.   \n**Due to safety reasons\, please do not fly drones during fireworks shows.** \nThe July 4th HarbourFest celebration is free and open to the public. Food and drinks are available for purchase. No coolers allowed.  Events are weather permitting and subject to change.
