With only dirt roads\, he had an incredible childhood — one that he’ll share with us during this talk. Collins attended elementary school in Bluffton until the school burned down. From then on\, he had to commute to school in Savannah every day. \nCollins is an an avid fisherman and outdoorsman and had an advertising agency for over 35 years. He often fishes and hunts before going to work. He was an outdoor writer for the Island Packet for 13 years and now writes for Bluffton/ Hilton Head Sun newspaper. Learn about growing up in the Lowcountry in the 1960s with Collins.
