The Beaufort Garden Club invites the public to visit these gardens\, free of charge\, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM\, rain or shine. \nThe Garden a Day schedule is as follows: \nMonday\, June 8 – 501 Pinckney Street\, Beaufort\nTuesday\, June 9 –   908 Scott Street\, Beaufort\nWednesday\, June 10 – 901 London Street\, Port Royal\nThursday\, June 11 – 1315 Laudonniere\, Beaufort  (Pigeon Point)\nFriday\, June 12 – 126 Spanish Point Drive\, Beaufort  (Spanish Point) \n“This year’s gardens feature magnificent live oak trees” said Lora Quincy\, 2026 Garden-A-Day Chair. “We are featuring gardens with old growth trees that have existed for decades\, and whose owners have created ethereal spaces around them.” \n“Once again\, we are excited to promote the many benefits of gardening and we hope the event will inspire more Beaufort residents to garden\,” said Sheila Drouin\, President\, The Beaufort Garden Club. \nThe Beaufort Garden Club\, the second oldest garden club in South Carolina\, has been holding its Garden A Day event every year in June since 1994.The event draws large crowds from South Carolina and surrounding states. \nGarden visitors are asked to not bring pets.

We will discover how AI can sometimes enhance (not replace!) human creativity by building a book together-creating both individually and collaboratively. The campers will write\, design\, critique\, edit all in preparation for publication of a book. \nCampers will be guided through their creative endeavors by Camp Conroy’s talented counselors\, 3 full-time adult instructors\, and special guests presenters and instructors. Campers will each receive a copy of the camp anthology on publication after the camp concludes. \nAdult instructors include: \nMiho Kinnas\, a Japanese poet/writer residing on Hilton Head. She is the author of three poetry collections and one book (about to be two books). This is her 9thyear as an instructor at Camp Conroy. \nDeidre Garr Johns\, a writer and 20-year veteran teacher also residing on Hilton Head\, and is a published author of poetry and children’s fiction This is her second year as an instructor at Camp Conroy. \nThomas ‘TJ’ Belasco\, taught English literature and composition for 34 years and lives in Beaufort. TJ\, a newly-appointed board member of the Conroy Literary Center\, is also a published author \nLinda Warner Constantino- a few words of background as a designer:I am a natural teacher. I love to learn how to create new things. I taught Illustration for 20 years at Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah\, Georgia. My students fed my enthusiasm for creativity. I like to think I did the same. \nCamp Conroy invites diversity and inclusivity among our campers with respect to race\, religion\, ability and all others aspects of identity. Scholarships are available to assist campers who might not otherwise be able to take part in this experience. \nThe $250 registration fee includes one week of instruction\, camp activities and healthy daily snacks. (This is a day camp; overnight lodging and meals are not included. \nApplying for a Scholarship: A limited number of full and partial scholarships are available.
