DESCRIPTION:Friends of Port Royal Cypress Wetlands and the Town of Port Royal are hosting the annual Birthday for the Birds on Saturday\, April 30th\, from 9 to 11am\, at the amphitheater on Paris Avenue.\n\nJoin in the fun and put on one of their party hats and enjoy artwork from students at Port Royal Elementary and Riverview Schools\, a kids scavenger hunt\, prizes\, Birds of Prey Educational Center\, Hunting Island Interpretive Center\, coloring books for the kids and lots more.\n\n\nCupcakes will be served at 10:30am along with a “Happy Birthday” sing-a-long\, kazoos and more.\n\n\nThe event was created by the late Pete Richards\, and a plaque dedication in his memory will also be held at 9am.
