The Beaufort Water Festival has announced on Friday that, in keeping with a traditional country music theme, country group Eli Young Band will take the stage as the headline performer at the Concert in the Park on Saturday July 16th starting at 7pm. Opening acts for the annual Saturday concert have not yet been released.
This will definitely be another good one.
In a long country music career starting in North Texas in 2000, overall, the Eli Young Band has released eight albums and has charted four number one singles on the Billboard Hot Country Songs and Country Airplay charts.
Their most recent album, This is Eli Young Band: Greatest Hits was released back in 2019.
The band has received numerous award nominations over the past 20 years including nominations for Grammys, Teen Choice Awards, Academy of Country Music Awards, CMT and the Billboard Music Awards.
The Beaufort Water Festival always brings bigger name (country music) talent to little Beaufort, and for that….we are always excited and always grateful.
Over the past several years, headliners have included Rodney Atkins, LoCash, Granger Smith, Tyler Farr, and Aaron Lewis. Lewis was the only one that wasn’t 100% country music. Having been the singer for the alt/metal band Staind throughout the 1990s and 2000s, Lewis also wowed the crowd at Henry C. Chambers Waterfront Park in 2017 when he went through a set list of Staind’s hits while performing, even turning some of the classic songs into country tunes.
This summer’s event runs from July 15th through July 24th.
Also, this week, the Water Festival announced that it is making the full switch to only offering digital tickets starting Friday, April 1st, and that digital tickets will be available for all concert events as they are announced.
Tickets for the Concert in the Park with the Eli Young Band are $30 and available for purchase online at https://www.bftwaterfestival.com/purchase-tickets.html#/
