Henry C. Chambers Waterfront Park

Henry C. Chambers Waterfront Park is the Beaufort’s most prominent park, located in downtown Beaufort along the water of the Beaufort River. The multi-acre park provides a breathtaking view of the Beaufort River, the Woods Memorial Bridge, the western tip of Lady’s Island, the eastern side of Port Royal Island and the northern tip of Parris Island. It includes many amenities including landscaped green space, riverfront walkways, creaky old swings, a pavilion and a children’s playground.
Shaded trees swaying in the sea breeze provide a relaxing atmosphere.

Pigeon Point Park

Just off of Boundary Street in Beaufort’s Uptown section, Pigeon Point Park is a public park that offers a great place for adults and kids alike to enjoy the outdoors. It’s many oak trees provide shelter and breezes from the sun on warm days and beautiful scenery. The park’s amenities include a large shaded playground area, picnic tables, open spaces and comfort facilities.

Stephen Elliott Park (Cannon Park)

Lots of folks enjoy the little park with the cannons at the foot of the Woods Memorial Bridge in downtown Beaufort. Locals like to call it Cannon Park, but its actual name is Stephen Elliott Park. A setting for local weddings, thousands of photo ops and a great spot overlooking the Beaufort River, the park is home to historic cannons that were removed from a British warship in the Revolutionary War.
