This year’s Flags In event (placing gravesite flags on gravesites) for the public will be held on Friday, May 23rd starting at 6pm at the main flagpole. After a short welcome, gravesite flags will be distributed to be placed on all 24,000 gravesites. If weather is bad, the event will be postponed until Saturday, May 24th at 8am.
Groups wishing to schedule an individual Flags In event between Wednesday May 21st and Friday, May 23rd should contact the cemetery at 843-524-3925 or Beaufort.NationalCemetery@va.gov no later than Friday, May 17th.
