Queen Quet, Chieftess of the Gullah/Geechee Nation will host the entire event.
DJs Kwame Sha of All Mobile Productions™(AMP™) and Carolina Apollo will keep the crowd dancing all day.
Presentations will be made by Wona Womalan African Dance Group, Khetnu Nefer & Dr. Yew, Dani’s Dance Dynamics and Dayclean de African Spirit.
Bring your fans for the “Boots on the Ground Git Down!”
Tours of the York W. Bailey Museum and the Reconstruction Era National Historical Park will take place throughout the day.
Gullah/Geechee art and traditional crafts will be on sale by the creators of these one of a kind pieces. Plenee Gullah/Geechee cuisine gwine be dey fa nyam pun.
