Belleau Wood Tavern- Filling The First Sand Bag and 250th B Day Bash

We’re putting shovels in the dirt to officially launch the Belleau Wood Tavern on 250th Birthday of the USMC. Tun Tavern may have been “the” tavern of the last 250 years but this will be the THE tavern
of the next 250.

This will be a proper USMC-style send-off to the next chapter:
• 🎖 Presentation of Colors
• 🎤 Short remarks from local leaders and Marines (don’t worry, no death-by-PowerPoint)
• ⛏️ Ceremonial ground break — shovels, hard hats, photo ops, and a few surprises
• 📸 Media, group photo, and a chance to be part of Marine Corps history in the making
