Local businesses and local talent were well represented at the past two events in 2024 and 2025, and the event organizers plan to continue the trend at this year’s event.

From the very beginning, the vision for the Music Festival of the Lowcountry was bigger than any one genre or crowd. Organizers set out to build something that reflects the true spirit of the Lowcountry — a vibrant mix of styles, cultures, and stories. Over the years, festival stages have come alive with everything from bagpipes and drum lines to country, rock, jazz, pop, and alternative. Every set, every note, every performance weaves another thread into the fabric of the community.

Today, that same promise remains at the heart of the festival: to celebrate local talent, create shared experiences, and remain open and accessible to all. Thanks to generous donations and community partnerships, the festival continues to be completely free to attend, while offering professional sound, staging, and lighting across two dynamic performance stages.

Beyond the music, attendees can enjoy a selection of local food vendors, including Mother Smoking BBQ, Sassy Sweets, Palmetto Popcorn, Food Savvy, and more; bringing the flavors of the Lowcountry to life alongside the sounds.

“At its heart, this festival isn’t just about music,” organizers shared. “It’s about the artists, the volunteers, the families dancing in the grass, and the friends sharing laughter. It’s about community.”

The Music Festival of the Lowcountry invites everyone to come out, bring a chair or blanket, and experience a day filled with rhythm, flavor, and connection along the beautiful Beaufort waterfront.
