Breakfield (formerly Boy Named Banjo)

The USCB Center for the Arts is excited to welcome Breakfield, formerly known as Boy Named Banjo, back to the stage on Thursday, June 19 at 7:30 p.m. following last year’s sold-out performance.

Known for their signature blend of roots-driven folk-rock, soaring harmonies, and high-energy live shows, Breakfield has quickly become a favorite with audiences across the country. Their return to Beaufort comes just one week after the release of their brand-new self-titled album on June 12, launching an exciting new chapter for the Nashville-based band.

Breakfield has performed at major festivals including Bonnaroo, headlined iconic venues such as the Grand Ole Opry, and shared stages with artists including Hank Williams Jr. and Old Crow Medicine Show. Their live performances are known for their unforgettable atmosphere that blends professional musicianship with genuine fun.

“We always have a lot of fun onstage,” said vocalist Barton Davies. “I think that energy translates to the audience and allows us to put on a show that takes people out of reality for a moment, so that we can all have a good time together.”
