Juneteenth Freedom Day Celebration in Port Royal

Project Freedom 326 has been hosting its 2026 Juneteenth Celebration Series, a multi-day community observance honoring freedom, culture, unity, and community empowerment throughout Beaufort and Port Royal, South Carolina.

The celebration has featured youth engagement activities, live entertainment, community resources, family-friendly programming, cultural showcases, a Unity Parade on June 19th, and on June 20th, a Freedom Day Program to commemorate Juneteenth and strengthen community connections across neighborhoods.

The Juneteenth Freedom Day Program will serve as the signature event of the celebration series, featuring:

Live Music & Entertainment, Paint Party & Games, Food Vendors, Horseback riding, Family Activities, Community Fellowship, Honoring Local Heroes

The event is presented in partnership with the Port Royal Farmer’s Market and supported by community organizations dedicated to uplifting and serving the Lowcountry.
