Unclaimed Veteran Committal Service
October 15 @ 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm
On Thursday, October 15th at 2pm, the public is invited to join us at Beaufort National Cemetery for the unclaimed committal service for HM3 Darrell Scott Londeau, United States Navy. He passed away last year. He was 66 years old.
Unclaimed services occur when, due to one of a number of possible circumstances, there is no one to claim the remains of a veteran that has passed away. In each case, the VA steps in to ensure the veteran receives the burial benefit and military honors they are entitled to.
We encourage everyone planning to attend to arrive at least 10-15 minutes early and look for the staff who will be out providing parking instructions.
