Beaufort did it again. This time we’re the most charming. Popular lifestyle website Home Addict named Beaufort the most charming small town in all of South Carolina on its 2020 list of “The Top Charming Small Towns in Each State.”
We couldn’t agree more.
“Beaufort is like a miniature version of the bigger city of Charleston,” the article noted. “Set along the Atlantic Ocean on one of the state’s coastal sea islands, it has its own Waterfront Park and several Civil War-era homes and plantations.”
The accolades have been pouring in for Beaufort recently.
In the past year, Beaufort has been named the Best Small Town in South Carolina, called One of the Cutest Towns in the U.S., the Most Quaint Town in South Carolina.
In addition to those, Southern Living magazine named the Old Sheldon Church ruins one of the South’s most beautiful chapels; named Hunting Island State Park one of the best state parks in the South; and named downtown Beaufort’s Craven Street one of the South’s most beautiful streets.
Also, we’re both the Healthiest County in South Carolina and the Most Patriotic, too.
