Beaufort did it again. This time we’re the prettiest. Popular website MSN (Microsoft Network) named Beaufort the Prettiest Town in all of South Carolina on its list of “The Prettiest Town in Every State”.
“Located on Port Royal Island, Beaufort is the most beautiful town in South Carolina thanks to its historic antebellum mansions framed by moss-draped live oak trees,” MSN’s writer said.
“On top of enjoying the ambiance on a stroll near the waterfront in Henry C. Chambers Waterfront Park or a horse-drawn carriage ride through town, visitors can explore Beaufort’s waterways by canoe, kayak and boat. Visit the Spanish Moss trail or Hunting Island lighthouse for amazing views of the water.”
Pretty is described by definition as “pleasing or attractive to the eye,” by Dictionary.com.
Sure sounds like Beaufort.
The accolades have been pouring in for Beaufort recently.
Recently, Beaufort has been named the Best Small Town in South Carolina, called One of the Cutest Towns in the U.S., the Most Quaint Town in South Carolina.
