Beaufort loves a 5K race and there’s another one coming this spring to Port Royal with one little caveat…..it’s for women only.

Join LowCountry Habitat for Humanity and the University of South Carolina Center for the Arts for a fun women’s only 5K Race on Saturday, March 27th in Port Royal. Starting at 8 am at Live Oaks Park, you’ll run or stroll through the beautiful streets of Port Royal following a certified 5K course.

To add to the fun, organizers are encouraging participants to dress up as a woman who you admire or who has had a tremendous influence on your life – could be a well-known female figure or your sweet little grandma.

Discounted early registration is $30 and $25 for Active Military through FEBRUARY 28, 2021.

Registration is limited to 250 participants for the actual, LIVE Women Only 5K. Virtual participation will be available for MEN that would like to join the event or for women that will not be able to make the in-person event – virtual registration in $30.

Fee includes race registration and t-shirt for all participants.

All COVID-19 precautions will be in place to make the women only 5K as safe as possible.

Prizes will be awarded to overall top three FEMALES and top two FEMALES in age divisions. Awards will not be given out on race day but distributed later to help with keeping the crowd size down.

This race is part of USCB Center for the Arts’ Women’s Wellness Week, which is being celebrated March 20th through the 28th. A mission to elevate, empower, enlighten and enrich all women.
