Mark your calendars for Saturday, June 8th for the music melody of a lifetime right here in Beaufort, SC. The Music Festival of the Lowcountry is coming to the downtown Beaufort waterfront for a free day of music and fun. Organizers are excited to unveil an extraordinary musical lineup that spans across several styles and genres and includes a can’t-miss lineup of favorites.

The lineup of performers includes Candice Glover, 2014 winner of American Idol, one of traditional country music’s favorites, Tony Jackson and Bruce in the USA, the most powerful and authentic Bruce Springsteen tribute band in all the land.

The idea for the Music Festival of the Lowcountry ignited in the mind of local real estate expert, Jamie Peart. She and her team have provided our community with multiple free events over the last several years including free photos in the park during the holidays and free family movie nights at the waterfront during the fall and winter months.

Peart possesses a passion for music and is immersed in a milieu of musical talent in her daily life, notably through her husband’s involvement with the Lowcountry Whalers, a local band who is also slated to perform at the festival. This environment inspired the conception of a music festival.

Her primary objective has been to provide a platform for local and regional bands to showcase their artistic prowess. Inclusivity across various music genres was a key consideration, as our picturesque historic town has not previously hosted an event of this nature.

Attendees can anticipate a diverse musical lineup encompassing country, jazz, R&B, classic rock, bagpipers, and more.

β€œI want to create a space where local musicians of all genres can play and be heard. Where our local community can enjoy music and life in our historic town,” Jamie said.

Jamie joined forces with the talented Brittany Underwood, a marketing specialist and graphic designer, to make this event sparkle. Besides the toe-tapping tunes, The Music Festival of the Lowcountry serves up a feast of tasty food from top vendors and a bustling market filled with crafts and goodies, all thanks to the awesome teamwork of the J.P. Signature Group crew and beyond.
