Beaufort Sandbar concert returns to the river for 5th year

Get ready for some fun again in the middle of the Beaufort River because the summertime blast on the sandbar is returning for another day of incredible live music. Yes, after being canceled in 2020 due to COVID-19, the Beaufort Sandbar Concert is returning to the Intra-Coastal Waterway for the fifth year in a row.

On Saturday, July 17th, country music artist Pat Cooper is headlining another big show at the sandbar and will be bringing along other singer/songwriters with him.

As always, the Beaufort Sandbar concert is completely free and open to the public…but is only accessible by boat. Organizers (and Pat Cooper) are expecting a 11am starting time for the show, based on high tide coming at 330pm, with the concert ending around 1pm.

For the past four years, the concert on a borrowed barge in the water has been a huge hit drawing a big crowd that easily numbers in the thousands.

It’s events just like this one that help make Beaufort the awesome little town that it is.

Bring on summer.
