The annual Beaufort Water Festival has added a night of rock ‘n roll to this year’s festivities.
Festival organizers have announced that Thunderstruck, an AC/DC tribute band from North Carolina that’s popular all across the U.S., will be performing at the adult-only River Dance on Friday night, July 19th.
The mostly country music-laden festival has had Journey and Eagles tribute bands in the past, and also brought in mega-rocker-turned-country musician Aaron Lewis (Staind) two years back, and this year promises to be a rockin’ night because there isn’t a riff that AC/DC has ever played that wasn’t meant to be loud.
According to it’s media, Thunderstruck aims to bring the high energy of an authentic AC/DC concert; complete with similar instruments, cannons on stage, and the Angus Young schoolboy outfit, while playing all of the songs you know and love from all eras of AC/DC.
Playlists typically include:
Back In Black
Shoot To Thrill
Hell’s Bells
Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap
You Shook Me All Night Long
TNT
Highway To Hell
This should be fun, and loud.
And, fun.
