A casting call has been put out for extras to appear in the latest, and final, installment of the Halloween horror movie franchise, which is also bringing Jamie Lee Curtis and Michael Myers to Savannah for filming.

Halloween Ends,’ is scheduled for release in theaters in October 2022 (around Halloween, of course) and it has been reported by the Hollywood Reporter that the movie is currently being filmed under the production title of ‘Cave Dweller.’

‘Halloween Ends’ is scheduled to be the final installment of the 44 year old horror series, and the last of 3 movies since it was “rebooted” in 2018 with the first of the newest 3 being filmed mostly in Charleston, SC.

Jamie Lee Curtis has played Laurie Strode for over 40 years in the Halloween franchise starting in the 1978 original; however, she thinks the new film, Halloween Ends, will be her last time playing the character, as she told ScreenRant.com last summer. The thirteenth installment is a direct sequel to 2018’s Halloween revamp, which lit a new fire to the entire franchise and saw Curtis reprise her iconic role, and last Octobers Halloween Kills, though she had some apprehensions of returning for 2018’s Halloween, she’s now poised to play the character one last time.

The Savannah Regional Film Commission reported that the film would be shooting on multiple dates in the Savannah area between January and March 2022.

If you’re interested in attempting to be an extra in the newest and last Halloween movie, an in-person casting call in Savannah is scheduled for this Wednesday, January 26th from 3pm to 6pm at Halo Model & Talent Agency, at 1319 Bull Street, and another is scheduled for Sunday, January 30th in Statesboro, GA from 2pm to 6pm at the Sugar Magnolia Bakery & Cafe.

According to Bill Marinella Casting, directors are seeking entire real families to act as themselves. Among many others, they also need lots of trick or treaters in costume, grocery store shoppers, butchers, townspeople, real police officers and EMTs, and a death metal band…as well as children aged 8-17 and adults.
