Fall has finally arrived in Beaufort and it brings all kinds of fall fun along with it. Carteret Street United Methodist Church turns into one big pumpkin patch every year and adds a huge touch of fall to downtown Beaufort.
We were informed that their fresh pumpkins of all shapes and sizes will be arriving on Sunday, September 26th, and the pumpkin patch will be opening either on Monday or Tuesday, September 27th or 28th.
Each season, the pumpkins sold at Carteret Street UMC are are grown by Navajo Indians in New Mexico and are shipped to the church in tractor trailers.
Some of them are just huge.
The pumpkin patch is located at 408 Carteret Street in downtown Beaufort, and is always open Monday through Saturday from 10am – 7pm and Sundays 12pm – 7pm through the month of October.
