Birthday for the Birds at Port Royal Cypress Wetlands

Friends of Port Royal Cypress Wetlands and the Town of Port Royal are hosting the annual Birthday for the Birds on Saturday, April 30th, from 9 to 11am, at the amphitheater on Paris Avenue.

Join in the fun and put on one of their party hats and enjoy artwork from students at Port Royal Elementary and Riverview Schools, a kids scavenger hunt, prizes, Birds of Prey Educational Center, Hunting Island Interpretive Center, coloring books for the kids and lots more.

The event was created by the late Pete Richards, and a plaque dedication in his memory will also be held at 9am.
