City of Beaufort Patriot Day Ceremony & Procession

Patriot Day Ceremony – Honoring Our Heroes
The City of Beaufort and the Exchange Club of Beaufort invite the community to a solemn Patriot Day observance on Thursday, September 11, from 8:00 to 8:30 PM at Henry C. Chambers Waterfront Park.
This annual event honors the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and pays tribute to the first responders and military personnel who serve and protect us every day.
As part of the ceremony, a First Responder’s Memorial Procession will take place, beginning at Meridian Road and proceeding down Sea Island Parkway to Bay Street, ending at the waterfront park.
Please note: Sea Island Parkway, including the Woods Memorial Bridge, will be temporarily closed from 8:00 to 8:30 PM to accommodate the procession.
We welcome all members of the community to join us in remembrance and reflection.
