Join us on the farm for the opportunity to celebrate cultures through their foodways. Beginning in November we will welcome Chef Takeya Meggett to the farm for a series of outdoor food experiences. Ms.Meggett is a dedicated culinarian whose diverse upbringing in New Jersey and global experiences shape her approach to food. Now in the Lowcountry, where her family has deep roots, she blends regional flavors with insights from her journey, prioritizing plants and seafood to honor her cultural heritage. The first event will feature a dish that highlights local seafood with a warm and hearty seafood stew, served with grilled sourdough bread and a fall dessert!
