The Heritage Days Symposium is more than a conversation about history—it is a bridge between generations.
From Penn School’s beginnings in 1862, through the preservation of Gullah Geechee culture, the Civil Rights era, and today’s Heritage Days, the symposium invites us to remember where we came from, reflect on what we’ve inherited, and imagine what we will leave for the next generation.
Our past is the foundation. Our present is the conversation. Our future is our responsibility.
The event takes place at Frissell Community House on the Penn Center Campus.
