Introduction to Oil Painting Workshop

Our introductory course, led by local artist and professor Emma McClure, is designed to teach the basics of oil painting. You’ll learn foundational principles, visual vocabulary, and essential elements such as color, light, and texture to enhance your conceptual and material connections. Additionally, the course provides insights into the history of oil painting to deepen your understanding and appreciation of this art form.
