Star Night
Discovery Night at the Museum
March 3, 6-8 PM
The heavens have fascinated people for centuries. Join two local Sky Rangers to learn more about stars and other objects of interest in the winter sky. Hear myths and legends associated with visible winter constellations.
Weather permitting, move from an indoor presentation to outdoor observation and learn how to find the constellations of the Winter Hexagon, including Orion, Taurus, Gemini, Canis Major, Canis Minor and Auriga. If the weather does not cooperate, experience all the wonders of the night sky through an indoor night sky simulation.
Cost is $15/Adult (ages 13+) and $8/Child (ages 7-12). Reservations are required and can be made by calling (843) 689-6767 ext. 223 or booking online at coastaldiscovery.org/calendar.
