EVENT DETAILS:
Join me (Dana) and a community of like-minded individuals on the beach at Hunting Island State Park for a one-of-a-kind sunset cacao ceremony and sound bath.

WHERE TO GO: USE THE MAIN PARK ENTRANCE AND NAVIGATE TO NORTH BEACH/THE LIGHTHOUSE – We’ll meet on North Beach, using the beach access closest to the Lighthouse, at 7:30 p.m.

Park in parking lot C (the Lighthouse parking lot).

When you walk to the beach, you’ll pass the playground (restrooms), & gift shop on your left and the Lighthouse on your right.

WHAT TO BRING: Bring a yoga mat, a bottle of water, and maybe a towel to rest your head on or dust the sand off your body after the ceremony.

PAYMENT: The cost for this retreat is $50. You’ll pay an $8 entrance fee to the park when you hit the front gate and $42 for your spot (which can be paid using the link below).

If this is your very first cacao ceremony or sound bath, WELCOME!!!

You do not need prior knowledge or experience with Cacao, meditation, or any other Soul-connecting modalities offered in any Night Retreat event.

If you’re on the fence or feeling intimidated, no worries—I’ve got you!

HERE’S WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT DURING THE CEREMONY 😍:

1. First we’ll be setting some gorgeous intentions for limiting thoughts, beliefs, people, places, things, etc, to let go of during our cacao ceremony, letting Mama Cacao do her job to clarify or elaborate what those intentions might be.

2. Next, we’ll lay on yoga mats and cushions (bring a yoga mat if you have one!) and allow Mama Cacao to flow through our bodies. This will bring us to a place of simultaneous peace and higher awareness while we are entranced by the deep healing frequencies of a 7-piece 432 Hz crystal singing bowl set.

3. After the ceremony and meditative experience, we’ll sit in a circle and let whoever feels called to share their experience do so. There is no pressure to share whatsoever. This journey is intended to be whatever it’s meant to be for you.

I will guide you through each step of the process and hold space for whatever might come up.

I consider myself an expert in the healing field and feel honored to walk by your side for such an incredible experience.

So wear some comfy clothes you can lay down in, bring a yoga mat if you have one, a bottle of water to stay hydrated, and a towel.

Other than that, just bring yourself, your open heart, and let yourself be supported and led while days, months and even years of heaviness wash away within this special space.

*If you’re wondering what cacao is, it’s a gentle, chocolate plant medicine drink with mood, consciousness, and perception-altering properties that lovingly lift you to feel more “in-spirit” or “inspired”.

Due to its ability to interact with the mind, Cacao is also known as an entheogen. Entheogens are psychoactive substances (often derived from plants) that can induce temporary shifts in perspective, mood, or perceptions and are often utilized for spiritual purposes. While these substances can be hallucinogenic (like psilocybin or Ayahuasca), they do not all fall under that category.

Cacao is one of the gentler entheogens. It is classified as a psychoactive (from the Greek psykhē “soul, mind, spirit; the invisible animating principle or entity which occupies and directs the physical body) but not a psychedelic. Though it influences the mind – especially in high dosages – unlike psychedelics, it is not hallucinogenic and therefore does not impair cognitive functioning.
