Festival of Trees bringing holiday cheer to downtown Beaufort

The Annual Festival of Trees to benefit Friends of Caroline Hospice is one of Beaufort’s most beloved holiday celebrations and the 2019 event continues a tradition that started 32 years ago.

The event kicks off Tuesday, December 3 at Tabby Place in Downtown Beaufort. Tree viewing will be open to the public Tuesday, December 3 – Thursday, December 5. More than 65 beautifully and whimsically decorated trees will be available for purchase. This year’s Gala will take place on Thursday, December 5 at Tabby Place amidst the trees with music, wine, beer and food from Beaufort’s best local restaurants. Santa will also be in attendance all week to have some fun and get some photos with attendees.

This year, there is a special Angel Tree that will be adorned with Angel ornaments in memory or honor of a loved one. Ornaments are only $25 and will be tagged with your special message during the event. The ornaments can be picked up from the Friends of Caroline office (1110 13th Street, Port Royal) after the event.

This year’s event will end on Saturday, December 7th in downtown Port Royal with a 5K Fun Run/Walk through the beautiful Old Village and down to the Sands, and SNOW Day will conclude the event this year from 10am – 1pm. So, after you run, stay for some fun!
