In honor of Mallory Beach and in appreciation of local first responders tireless and selfless work to maintain safety here in the Beaufort area, there’s a First Responder Appreciation Event being held on Saturday, May 11th from 11am to 2pm at Beaufort Town Center’s Center Stage area.

Sponsored by Coldwell Banker Platinum Partners, the event will feed all local police, fire and EMTs who attend with food provided by Outback Steakhouse, Red Rooster Cafe, Q On Bay, Plums and Gilligan’s.

First responders are treated to lunch for free at the event.

Our team at Coldwell Banker wanted to do something to honor Mallory since her tragedy had such a huge impact on our entire County,” said organizer April Johnson. “Per her family’s wishes, they wanted donations made to the Hampton County Animal Shelter.”

The family event will also have face painting, snow cones, bouncy houses and a dunk tank where you can try to dunk local first responders who volunteer to risk getting wet.

Also, Hampton County Animal Services will be present with pets ready for adoption and proceeds from the event will also be donated to the shelter.

All first responders who attend will be treated to a free lunch, and the cost of lunch for the general public is only $10 for adults and $5 for children.
