For the 4th year, nearly 18,000 Easter eggs holding prizes will be falling out of a helicopter and dropped onto a field where over a thousand local children will race to pick them up, in the largest Easter egg hunt in Beaufort.
Yes. The Great Helicopter Egg Drop is coming back to Lady’s Island at Beaufort Academy on Saturday, March 23rd, from 9am until 2pm, and the entire community is invited for the fun.
Beaufort Academy puts on the area’s largest Easter Egg Hunt with a festival atmosphere, and its fun doesn’t stop with just 17,500 plastic Easter eggs. The Great Helicopter Egg Drop is an Easter Egg Hunt open to the first 1,250 pre-registered children in our community between the ages of 1-11. There will be many golden eggs with GREAT PRIZES.
Kids can also enjoy a bounce houses, balloon artists, vendors, face painters, a petting zoo, music, a parking lot full of ten local food trucks and even free photos with the Easter Bunny.
Admission to the event is free, but if your child would like to participate in the egg drop and the other fun they have to preregister at a cost of only $16. Admission includes your child’s participation in one of FIVE age-specific egg hunts with over 17,500 eggs, unlimited use of the bounce area, and a printed picture with the Easter Bunny. Face painting and the petting zoo are available for an additional cost.
The event is scheduled for Saturday, March 23rd, from 9am to 2pm. Beaufort Academy is located at 240 Sams Point Road on Lady’s Island.
