Local senior citizens were escorted by Marines in their dress blues today to the 56th Annual Senior Citizens Tea, hosted every Christmas since 1968 aboard MCAS Beaufort by the Military Spouses Association. The event celebrates and honors our senior citizens, our country’s greatest generation, and many attendees are currently living in nursing homes or assisted living facilities.
