Want to hang out at Hunting Island Beach AND get paid for it AND be on a new television series? The new Netflix series, “OBX” will be filming several scenes in Hunting Island starting on Tuesday, May 21st and going through May 23rd.
According to casting officials, “OBX” is a coming of age story about four best friends in high school during the summer following a devastating hurricane, WSAV-TV has reported.
They also say they have a great need for teens and young adults, there will be plenty of other opportunities for all ages to work on the production throughout the duration of filming which mainly takes place in the Charleston-area.
According to the article, the pay rate is guaranteed $80 for 8 hours and time and a half for every hour that exceeds the eighth hour. Those submitting must be available all day and expect to film 10-12+ hours.
