J. Lee’s Coney Island fired up the grill and opened its doors on Monday morning at Beaufort Town Center. The new restaurant boasts an extensive value-priced menu with plenty of variety to satisfy every foodies’ taste.
Owned by locals Alex and ‘Doc’ Johnson, the new restaurant is located in the spot at Beaufort Town Center formerly occupied by Clean Eatz, which closed its doors last year.
We’ve seen plenty of restaurant menus over the years, but this one carries some seriously extensive variety.
Offering an all-day breakfast, you can order pancakes, eggs, waffles, grits, chicken & waffles, omelettes, sandwiches and more, anytime of the day or night.
The menu also boasts Coney Island hot dogs, burgers, quesadillas, sandwiches, patty melts, subs, stir frys, salads, pitas, wings and specialty dinners that include shrimp and steak.
We told you there was a lot to choose from.
“We decided to start this calling to not only raise the bar of good, affordable food but also to minimize the number of stops needed to fill that craving,” owner Alex Johnson said. “We make each item with the desire that it will bring you back for more.”
We enjoyed the Big Steak Pita during our opening day visit.
Of note on the menu at J. Lee’s is their corned beef egg rolls, a ‘Dad-Bod’ salad and the Taco Dog.
Make sure to pay the restaurant a visit at 2121 Boundary Street in Beaufort Town Center. Their hours are Monday through Thursday 7am to 9pm, and Friday & Saturday from 7am to 11pm. You can also visit them on Facebook.
