The military says, āno man left behind.ā Thatās why nine veterans are being laid to rest this week at the Beaufort National Cemetery and the invitation for attendance is open to literally anyone and everyone.
Wreaths Across Americaās Beaufort chapter put out a call for volunteers to attend the service of the nine veterans who are being interred at our National Cemetery because none have any surviving family.
To come and attend, and stand as their family, as they have stood for us.
The nine heroes are:
“Please join us,” Wreaths Across America Beaufort said on social media.
“Our community and Wreaths Across America Beaufort family can be the family for, and say thank you to, 9 veteran heroes. RIP.”
The services are planned for Friday, December 9th at 11am at the Beaufort National Cemetery, 1601 Boundary Street, Beaufort SC.
