Due to start in a few weeks from now, COVID-19 has canceled the annual Beaufort Ghost Tours.
We had our fingers crossed that this one wouldn’t fall victim to the pandemic.
In a social media posting earlier this afternoon, CAPA Beaufort has announced that the October event will not be celebrating its 26th year in 2020.
A much anticipated time each year when Beaufort’s ghosts, ghouls and freaks come to life in downtown’s Point Neighborhood, the annual ghost tours have become a fixture in town every October since they were started by the Exchange Club of Beaufort back in 1994.
We hate to see the tours cancelled, and we certainly look forward to them coming back to haunt us in 2021.
