On Thanksgiving Day, the Parish Church of St. Helena will host the 41st Annual Community Thanksgiving Dinner on Thursday, November 26th, from 11am Noon at the church’s Parish Hall at 507 Newcastle Street in Downtown Beaufort.

All are welcome.

Providing a free Thanksgiving dinner for the community is one of the favorite traditions at the Parish Church of St. Helena, with over one thousand traditional Thanksgiving meals served each year. Rosalind Dixon, who coordinates the meal, said the church expects to carve up more than 60 turkeys for the event, which is in its 41st year.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there is no sit-down dinner this year at the church.

Drive up take-away meals are available for those who need one or for want to carry meals to the elderly or homebound. The food is donated to the church and the dinner is a gift to the community with the cost only being a smile and thankful heart.
