Global Running Day Group Run and Litter Clean up

Join us on Thursday, June 6th, for a special Global Running Day Litter Cleanup event at Shell Ring, sponsored by Grounded Running and partnered with Beaufort Litter Patrol! Lace up your sneakers and join the community in a group run starting at 6:00 PM, followed by a litter cleanup along the picturesque river at 6:30 PM. After making a positive impact on our environment, unwind with a pint and dinner at Shell Ring Ale Works. Let’s run together for a cleaner, greener Port Royal! See you there!

Global Running Day Litter Cleanup at Shell Ring with Beaufort Litter Patrol
Event: Global Running Day Litter Cleanup

Time: 6:00 PM – 8:30 PM
Join us for a special event in celebration of Global Running Day! On Thursday, June 6, Grounded Running and the Beaufort Track Club are teaming up with Beaufort Litter Patrol to combine fitness and community service. Together, we will make a positive impact on our environment by cleaning up litter around Port Royal.
Event Highlights:
Group Run: Kick off the evening with a fun group run starting at 6:00 PM. Whether you’re a seasoned runner or a beginner, this event is perfect for all fitness levels. The route will take you through scenic paths showcasing the natural beauty of Port Royal and will begin in the parking lot of Shell Ring Ale Works.
Litter Cleanup: At 6:30 PM, we’ll start our litter cleanup along the river. All necessary supplies, including gloves and trash bags, will be provided. Help keep our community clean by collecting litter as we enjoy the outdoors.
Social Gathering: After the cleanup, stick around for a pint and dinner at Shell Ring. This is a great opportunity to unwind, enjoy good food and drink, and connect with other environmentally conscious runners and community members.
Schedule:
6:00 PM: Event kickoff and group run begins at Shell Ring entrance.
6:30 PM: Litter cleanup along the river.
7:00 PM: Social gathering with a pint and dinner at Shell Ring.
8:30 PM: Event concludes.
