Then prepare for the main event—a spectacular performance by the legendary S.O.S. Band! Known for their irresistible R&B hits like “Take Your Time (Do It Right)”, “Just Be Good to Me”, and “The Finest”, they’ll keep you dancing all afternoon in true disco style.

For just $10, you can join this unforgettable celebration of the enduring legacy of Historic Mitchelville. Dive into delicious eats and delightful treats from local food trucks and vendors, all set against the picturesque backdrop of Historic Mitchelville Freedom Park. Don’t forget to bring your lawn chairs, flaunt your best disco outfits, and stay hydrated with water bottles as we celebrate Juneteenth with a day filled with music, history, and community spirit.
