Beaufort's Wet Willie's set to reopen in September
Wet Willie's in Beaufort Town Center is reopening in September.

After abruptly shutting its doors last December, Wet Willie’s in Beaufort Town Center has plans to reopen serving its signature food & drink menus on September 1st.

According to the Wet Willie’s Beaufort Facebook page, the spot is under new management and they should be open again on September 1st. At the time of the post, some staffing was still needed and interviews were being conducted.

Wet Willie’s abruptly closed its doors in mid-December 2018 after local owners from St. Helena Island opened it one year prior in December 2017. A ‘Will Open Under New Management’ sign hung in the front door when it closed.

Known throughout the Southeast, Wet Willie’s offers a lunch and dinner menu that includes shrimp & grits, sandwiches, wings and even calamari along with the frozen daiquiri drinks that the chain is well known for.
