It’s October, and witches are invading the Lowcountry again providing a day full of spooky fun. The Gas Lantern Apothecary & Mystical is hosting its Second Annual Haunted Hallows Festival, a Halloween celebration for the Lowcountry, on Saturday, October 25th, from 3pm to 9pm at the Naval Heritage Park in Port Royal.

The free, fun-filled, costume-encouraged, family oriented event will feature live entertainment, the popular annual Witches Dance, a vendor market, food trucks and food booths, an aerialist, kid’s games and a whole lot more.

New this year is an Apple Pie Baking Contest, with Port Royal Town Council members judging the best apple pie.

Also, kids take center stage as each child in attendance will be given a a treat bag full of goodies, and a Kid’s Passport to visit spooky characters, booths and other spots in the festival to find something ghoulishly good.

Also, special activities will be set up including making your own witch broom, and a Witches Dance Workshop – where you can learn the witches dance and then join in the evening dancing with the coven!

The Gas Lantern Apothecary & Mystical, a Port Royal shop and community presence known for metaphysical goods, workshops and local events, launched the first Haunted Hallows festival in Port Royal in 2024.

Admission is free and open to the public; some vendor purchases and specialty experiences may have fees.

Halloween costumes are strongly encouraged.
