LongHorn Steakhouse opening in Beaufort on January 28th
Robert Smalls Parkway is about to become a little bit busier….and a lot more tastier.
Longhorn Steakhouse is setting up shop across the highway from Lowe’s Home Improvement in a newer development that is also home to a car dealership, some commercial spaces and offices including a new Aspen Dental office.
According to a banner outside the nearly finished restaurant building, the location will be opening on January 28th, and we’ll have another restaurant to enjoy here in town.
The 5,500 square-foot restaurant will employ 35 people and have about 180 seats.
Interviews are currently being held for positions. The restaurant is currently hiring servers, line cooks, bartenders, hosts & hostesses and dishwashers.
LongHorn is a casual dining chain owned and operated by Darden Restaurants. Darden operates Olive Garden and Red Lobster, which both had a short presence in Beaufort a few years back.
Some of LongHorn’s signature items include “fresh, never frozen,” grilled steaks including an “Outlaw Ribeye” and 30-ounce “Porterhouse for Two.” The menu offers other dishes as well. Among them are ribs, chicken, salmon, lobster, shrimp and salads.
